Womens Health Matters are recruiting a female Development Worker (Mental Health).
Contract: Fixed-term contract until 31st December 2017, potential of extension.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £25,951 (pro rata)

Funded by The Leeds Fund (Leeds Community Foundation) the Development Worker will support an exciting new strand within the work of the Rainbow Hearts women’s group. The group offers a safe, friendly space for women who are seeking asylum, from many different countries.
The Development Worker will deliver a programme for women to connect with peers, share experiences and information. The programme will improve access to mental health services and other support to increase women’s ability to manage their mental health and reduce isolation and vulnerability.
They need a candidate with experience of working with asylum seekers and in mental health support work. The ability to facilitate groups, deliver 1-to-1 support and build strong external partnerships is essential. Passion, energy and ideas are vital to this role.
