Following the success of Leeds Jewish Welfare Board’s Mental Health Awareness Week events last year they have planned another week of fantastic speaker events in varying areas of the mental health Awareness field. Each speaker event is being held at the MAZCC (Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre) and you can find all the details and registering information below and in the flyer (pdf 203 KB).

Tackling – Mental health and wellbeing in the game of Rugby
Bob Bowman QPM, Director of Operations at Leeds Rhinos Foundation will speak about their support for mental health and the impact it has especially on men.
- Tuesday 9th May 7.30pm
Postnatal Depression and the Potential Impact on the Parent/Infant Relationship
Lorraine Ingram and Claire McManus from Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust will speak on attachment theory and then links to how postnatal depression can impact on the developing relationship between the parent and infant.
- Wednesday 10th May 7.30pm
Hannah Patten from Leeds Mind will speak on Mental Health in the Workplace from both the employer and employee perspective.
