Can you help improve support for pregnant women, new mums and partners?

Having a baby is probably the biggest thing to happen in your life. It can be a very happy time, but it can also be stressful and scary.

The NHS, Leeds City Council and other organisations are working together to give emotional support to mums and their partners in Leeds to help them cope when things get difficult.

If you or your partner experienced emotional or mental health problems during pregnancy or the first year of your baby’s life, you might like to join a friendly local group to share your experiences.

It will help  find out how services can improve, to help other expecting or new parents just like you.

The group gets together every couple of months as a small group over tea and coffee. Travel and childcare costs are covered, or you can bring your child or children along. If you can’t or don’t want to join the group you can still get involved online.
